This great Adirondack river falls from Upper Saranac, Middle and Lower Saranac Lakes, into two ponds and another lake before reaching Lake Flower and Saranac Lake Village. From here it flows north and east to Plattsburgh and Lake Champlain. It's a terrific canoe river with lots of great camping on the lakes.
