Lake Ontario Has Remodeled Sandy Island Beach

Lake Ontario is very high again this year, causing damage to shorelines and low-lying structures all around the lake.

The beautiful stretch of beach here at Sandy Pond has disappeared, at least for now, and has been replaced by these graded skipping stone-sized rocks.
