Northern Iceland is a geologists' heaven. The landscape is happening in current and accelerated time. Volcanoes, icy glacial melt water, thermal pools, lava, cinders, cones: it's all here. Also, bread baked in the hot ground and public bathing in hot springs...we try to learn everything, and learn to try everything. Not enough time!
