Why are there no books in this extraordinarily beautiful library toward the end of January 2019?
The Library building sits just behind the Centre Block on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, and the Centre Block is just beginning, at the end of January, a 10-year renovation project.
The books have been carefully redistributed and will always be available and in use for the duration.

Probably the most beautiful space in the capital. I had a chance to take a tour again in late November. I know the Library won't need much work, if any, as it had some work done several years ago, but because of the rest of the work, it'll be largely isolated.
