These murals, A Field of Wildflowers by Roberto Juarez in the Station Master's Waiting Room at Grand Central Station in New York City, are perfectly lovely.
Hidden away from constant motion in the vast station, the waiting room also has a new women's room. Paradise! According to the NY Times:
"It's, like, amazing," said Lisa Kovitz, who commutes into
Grand Central Terminal every day from Ossining, N.Y.,
and discovered the bathroom this week.
"You could hear angels singing, it was so nice."
Definitely a welcome sight as opposed to plain walls.
