Great Grey Owl, Rare Visitor to Northern New York

This huge owl and two friends spent much of February in the Robert Moses State Park along the St. Lawrence River near Massena. They usually live further north and west, from western Ontario and beyond. How lucky we were to have them here.

Great Greys are the official bird of Manitoba.

They follow the voles!
