Ah, you've been up for a visit! I featured these last month at my page. They were out of sight for awhile in the vaults. I'd wondered if it had to do with the construction last year on Sussex that might have been a consideration. I also wonder if they're brought in for the winter. It's a terrific installation.
Yes, we were up for 2 nights! It's always so good to be there. We first saw the horses inside in a huge show of Joe Fafard 4-5 years ago. Then, as you say, they appeared outside for a season or two, then disappeared. So glad they are back. I always scan for you but no luck so far!
