Marietta: Home of the Founder of Mills Seed House

Home of Frank B. Mills who, in 1887, founded the Mills Seed House near Marietta.

The home and some other buildings from the former seed company can be found on Rose Hill Road, a short distance south of Route 20.

    1. Frank B. Mills put Rose hill on the map with his Seed company. This house should be celebrated. Articles like this could be the reason this beautiful house gets saved and not torn down. As I understand it you don't live there so perhaps the current owner allowed this picture to be taken. It's such a shame the current owner and its occupants are not taking care of it and allowing the surrounding building to fall down. I hope that someone saves this house and bring it back to its former glory. I assume that Frank Mills was your father/Grandfather? I think it would make him happy knowing that his house was saved and brought back to its former glory.
